Our KYB provider's system currently doesn't support documents in languages like Farsi or Japanese. This means that if your document is in one of these languages, we will need a Latin transliteration to be able to accept it.
What you should do
If your document is in Farsi, Japanese, or another unsupported language, you can still make it work by providing a notarized English translation.
To obtain a notarized translation, consider reaching out to a translation agency or a professional translator. Once you have the translation, a notary can verify it by witnessing the translator's signature, which confirms its authenticity. Many translation agencies offer both translation and notarization services, making it convenient for you.
Here are four key requirements for notarized translations:
- The translation should be clear and readable.
- The translator's full name and signature must be included.
- The notary's full name and signature must also be present.
- A notary seal should be affixed to the translation.
Usually, you will only need to provide the notarized translation without the original document. However, if you're asked to submit a selfie with a document and the notarized translation doesn't include your photo, please take the selfie with the original document instead of the translation.
What you shouldn't do
We kindly ask that you do not translate the document yourself. Unofficial translations, whether handwritten or typed, won't be accepted. Additionally, please avoid using graphic editors to type the translation over the original text.
We appreciate your understanding that we cannot accept 'DIY' translations under any circumstances.
